Visit to Cap Frehel in Brittany

When I spent a few days in Erquy, which is a commune in the Côtes-d’Armor department in Bretagne, France, I am going to the “Cap Frehel” which is not very far, a few miles. Cape Freels is a bird sanctuary along the Emerald Coast. It is located 8.5 miles from downtown Freels and 4 km from the center of Plévenon, is among the most impressive in Britain: the cliff overlooking the sea about 70 meters. A path between the heather and gorse, integrated with GR 34, went around the course.

The GR® 34 This is one of the most iconic trails of Great French Randonnée®. GR® 34 – or “customs trail” – alongside more than 1 800 km all the Brittany coast, offering stunning views of the sea Unforgettable.!

With my mountain bike, I followed the sublime path that goes around the “Cap Frehel” by borrowing from 80% the customs trail  (GR® 34 ) along the Cape.

Not far from Cape Frehel, there is the Castle Fort La Latte that served as decor for the film “The Viking” 1958 Richard Fleischer Cast: Kirk Douglas (Einar), Tony Curtis (Eric), Janet Leigh (Morgana) Ernest Borgnine (Ragnar).
