Sunset from the cliff Torrey Pines State Reserve

Torrey Pines State Reserve is an incredible park. The views from the top of cliffs are absolutely breathtaking, and are motivation enough to conquer the hike. The trails aren’t super challenging and can be completed by even the most novice of hiker.

Torrey Pines is the perfect place for visitors to connect with California’s natural beauty and San Diego residents to take a break from the stress of daily life, reminding ourselves why this place has been deemed America’s Finest City.

There are multiple trails that cut through desert, trees, and of course, the ocean. So you can pick and choose how far you’d like to go and how intense of a hike you want, but anyone who can walk shouldn’t have problems, unless there are issues with stairs. Bring a camera because the views here are fantastic. You can walk down on the beach as well. Be sure to look out while you’re here. You can frequently see dolphins in this area.

I recommend going during the evening to get that nice cool breeze with an exercise and finish up by taking in a picture perfect sunset at Torrey Pines.
