Poweradd pilot pro2 23000 mAh  my power bank

When I go outside to photograph or film, I always have my powerful external battery Poweradd pilot pro 2 in my bag. My poweradd is a bit old, it’s the 23000mAh / 85wh and now there is the  PowerAdd Pilot Pro 32000mAh, but I am always happy with mine. It can recharge different gopro, my Canon camera batteries, Blackmagic camera, my workstation HP (very greedy), my Atomos batteries, and of course my mobile phone.

It took me a long time to find a charger of this kind. The main problem is that for each type of device we need a different battery or charger (USB can not charge digital SLR, flash or laptop or something else that can not Only with AA / AAA batteries).

The design is very simple: the device has a single background and a small screen with blue light. There is no on / off switch – when you connect something, it will start charging and show you the amount of power remaining on the battery and the voltage on which the DC output is currently set.

To change this voltage, you will need to press down for a few seconds and press several times until you reach the desired voltage (9V / 12V / 16V / 19V / 20V are available)

Although the PowerAdd Pilot Pro is not considered tough (it is made of plastic with a metallic finish on the top and a white plastic at the bottom), it feels solid and quite well made without spare parts. I often carry it in my bag in very cold weather, very hot or still very damp, it has always worked.

  • Battery Type: Li-polymer Battery
  • Capacity: 23000mAh/85Wh
  • Input: DC 15~24V/2A
  • Output: DC 9V/12V/16V/19V/20V 4.5A(MAX)
  • USB1: 5V, 2.5A
  • USB2: 5V, 1A
  • Dimension: 18.28*12.44*1.52cm
  • Weight:558g

The new battery (32000mAh unit) weighs more than 800 grams or about 30 ounces. In terms of size it is almost equivalent (18cm x 12 cm / 7 x 4.7 inches) but 1 centimeter thicker (about 3 cm / 1.1 inches).
